We are excited to share that the Asylum Seeker Advocacy Project (ASAP) now has 75,000 members! We have also scaled our mass communication systems, allowing us to share critical immigration news and resources with ASAP members across the country at the click of a button.
Today, ASAP is the largest membership-based organization of asylum seekers in the United States. ASAP’s current members have come to the United States from more than 150 countries around the world.
“I would like to fight for my future in this country, and for others,” an ASAP Member from Guatemala shared when they applied to become a member.
Over the past few months, ASAP has grown and launched new mass communication systems, allowing us to regularly share immigration news and resources with members. Accessible from a cell phone, ASAP’s mass member updates are instantly viewed by tens of thousands of asylum seekers from the moment they are sent. For example, more than 30,000 members directly accessed self-help resources from ASAP’s last mass communication alone. By mobilizing digital tools and technology, our mass communication methods ensure that ASAP’s members are able to receive urgent updates from ASAP no matter where they are.
ASAP is proud to support 75,000 members as they fight for their futures in the United States. For more information about to become an ASAP member, visit this page.
