Fred Diego

Fred Diego is a technologist with 10 years of experience developing systems, large and small, in the public and private sector. Fred co-founded Streetwide, a non-profit which develops technology for the immigrant rights space. Afterwards, he served as Director of Engineering at Emerson Collective. He is currently VP of Engineering at a media startup.

Fred is originally from Guerrero, Mexico. Fred spent 25 years of his life as an undocumented immigrant from Mexico. He studied cognitive science and computer science at Indiana University which contributes to a deep interest in the potential power at the intersection of technology and law. He lives wherever the work takes him with his wife and daughter.
