Cristina Moreno is a Staff Attorney and Skadden Fellow. She works in the Systemic Reform Department at ASAP.

Prior to law school, Cristina worked as a Legislative & Policy Associate at the Immigration Hub. She advocated to stop the Remain in Mexico policy and to cut funding for immigration detention centers. Cristina also worked with asylum seekers detained in Dilley, Texas, in preparation for their initial asylum interviews.

Cristina graduated magna cum laude from Boston University School of Law. She represented asylum-seeking clients in immigration court, as a co-student-attorney with the Immigrants’ Rights Clinic and as a summer legal intern at ASAP and at the Capital Area Immigrants’ Rights (CAIR) Coalition.

Cristina is from Takoma Park, Maryland. She is the daughter of Colombian and Spanish immigrants. She speaks Spanish and English. In her free time, she enjoys dancing salsa, watching Real Madrid games, and going on long walks.
